Pastor, since 2018
Sarah Stewart was called as Pastor of FBCOKC in October of 2018. She served as the Minister for Young Adults for ten years prior to being called to this new role. God has been preparing her all this time to pastor this beautiful church. Although Sarah was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma. There she met and fell in love with Brad Stewart. After getting married, the two of them attended George W. Truett Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s in Divinity. She has served in various churches in Oklahoma and Texas. Sarah and Brad have three wonderful boys: Noah, Luke and Griffin. Sarah loves FBCOKC and is excited to see what God has for us.

Andrew grew up in Waco, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and stayed in Waco to earn his Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Braden, met wile working together at a church in Waco. They are both excited about this new chapter of life in Oklahoma City and are eager to be a part of the story God is writing through FBCOKC.

Like a good Normanite, Brad attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology. After meeting and marrying Sarah, he attended George W. Truett Theological Seminary where he obtained a Master's in Divinity. He has previously served as a youth minister at FBC Rosebud in Texas. He and Sarah have three wonderful boys: Noah, Luke and Griffin.

Pastor Emeritus, since 2018
At the close of Mack’s forth interim, First Baptist Church named him Pastor Emeritus. He has faithfully led our church family for years. He has long been a mentor of our new pastor, Sarah Stewart, and a shepherd to many. Mack has had a long history of education, preaching, and mentoring. He was born and raised in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Baptist University, then earned graduate degrees from Philips Theological Seminary and The University of Notre Dame, and his doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor of churches in Oklahoma, Texas, and California. He is happily married to Sandy. They have three children, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. We have been blessed by Mack’s faithful commitment to the church and to the Lord. He has taught us how to approach scripture with sincerity. Mack has taught us how to approach one another with love and care and great humility. He has inspired in us a love for the church and given us a picture of what we hope to be. We have seen the Lord shining through him all these years. We are forever grateful for how God has used Mack and Sandy in our lives and will continue to do so in the future.
Office Administrative Coordinator, since 2017
Jennifer was raised in Lawton, Oklahoma. After earning a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, Jennifer worked as a middle-school choir teacher. She is married to Matt and they have two beautiful daughters: Peryn and Avery.

Lonnie was born and raised in Colorado and spent 42 years serving as the Director of Maintenance, Operations & Transportation Department at West Covina Unified School District in California. He is married to Debbie and the father of seven children. He also boasts 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren!

Organist, since 2009
We are so excited to have Steven as our new Minister of Music at FBC. He will be presented as a candidate for ordination this summer. Steven is from Denton, Texas. He has earned a bachelors of fine arts in Music and a bachelor's of arts in history from the University of Oklahoma. He then pursued his juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He and his beautiful wife, Christi, have two sons, Brycen and Jarret. Steven works as General Counsel at WEOKIE Credit Union and serves on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Food Services Coordinator, since 2017
Debbie was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. She has always enjoyed being in the kitchen. Debbie and her husband, Cole, joined FBCOKC in 2011 and have two adorable children, Maddie & Duncan.

Jordan was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. She is married to Patrick Browne.
