Sarah Stewart was called as Pastor of FBCOKC in October of 2018.  She served as the Minister for Young Adults for ten years prior to being called to this new role.  God has been preparing her all this time to pastor this beautiful church.  Although Sarah was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma.  There she met and fell in love with Brad Stewart.  After getting married, the two of them attended George W. Truett Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s in Divinity.  She has served in various churches in Oklahoma and Texas.  Sarah and Brad have three wonderful boys: Noah, Luke and Griffin.  Sarah loves FBCOKC and is excited to see what God has for us.

Don Clothier

Church Pianist

Don Clothier grew up at First Baptist from cradle roll through Sunday School, Training Union and most especially the FBCOKC music ministry. He learned to read music in children’s choir before taking his first piano lesson, and found he could also play by ear, a gift from his grandmother. Don attended Oklahoma Baptist University, majoring in voice and has served as a church musician in Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal, Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches. In 2014, he came home to FBCOKC, first as pianist for the First Family Singers, a group his parents were members of, then fulfilling a lifelong wish to become church pianist in 2019.

Mack Roark

Pastor Emeritus

At the close of Mack’s fourth interim, First Baptist Church named him Pastor Emeritus.  He has faithfully led our church family for years.  He has long been a mentor of our new pastor, Sarah Stewart, and a shepherd to many.  Mack has had a long history of education, preaching, and mentoring.  He was born and raised in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Baptist University, then earned graduate degrees from Philips Theological Seminary and The University of Notre Dame, and his doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served as pastor of churches in Oklahoma, Texas, and California.  He is happily married to Sandy.  They have three children, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  We have been blessed by Mack’s faithful commitment to the church and to the Lord.  He has taught us how to approach scripture with sincerity.  Mack has taught us how to approach one another with love and care and great humility.  He has inspired in us a love for the church and given us a picture of what we hope to be.  We have seen the Lord shining through him all these years.  We are forever grateful for how God has used Mack and Sandy in our lives and will continue to do so in the future.

Justin Keiser

We’re so excited to welcome Justin Keiser, our new Facilities Manager at FBCOKC!  Justin is originally from Pennsylvania.  He grew up working on construction projects with his dad and baling hay on their farm.  Justin has a wife named Christa and a two-year old son named Riley.  Justin and Christa got engaged at the Creation Museum in Kentucky,  got married on beach in Florida a few months later, and then moved to OKC three weeks after their wedding!
