Care for okc

CareForOKC is one of the ways FBCOKC cares for our community!

Through CareForOKC, we are able to provide food and clothing to those in need. With a partnership from the Regional Food Bank, a local Wal-Mart, and donations from our church, we can exemplify the love of Christ by meeting for some of their tangible needs.
CareForOKC is open:

  • Monday evenings from 4:30 pm - 6:00pm.  Clients must arrive by 6:00pm for us to have adequate time to serve you!

To receive assistance, clients must bring an ID and Proof of Residence (examples of proof include: a utility bill, a rent receipt, or another piece of mail).

If you'd like to find a food pantry closer to your home, this link will take you to the Regional Food Bank’s database. You can put in your address and find a food pantry that is close to you.

CareForOKC Changes During COVID

  • Masks are recommended for all unvaccinated persons.
  • We are now serving clients inside for The Food Pantry and The Clothes Closet is now open!
  • We will post any changes to these procedures, including when clients will be able to re-enter the building and select food for themselves, on the CareForOKC door and on our church website.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility with us as we continue to find the safest ways to serve our community during this unprecedented event.
