Join  FBCOKC  for  Holy  Week  2021

After an unconventional Holy Week in 2020, we are thrilled to be hosting in-person and online opportunities to participate in Holy Week 2021. We will begin with our Palm Sunday Service and Children's Ministry Easter Egg Hunt on March 28th. On Maundy Thursday (April 1st), we will host an interactive Stations of the Cross event. We will hold our annual Good Friday Service on April 2nd. And we will celebrate our risen Savior during our Easter Sunday service on April 4th. We hope you will join us for these special events! And each one is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to join us.

We are excited to celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem during our Palm Sunday service! This celebratory service will be at 10:30am on Sunday morning, March 28th.  As always, the service will be live streamed on our website and Facebook page. Those live streams can be accessed using the buttons below.
Following our Palm Sunday service will be our annual children's Easter Egg hunt!
Egg and candy donations can be dropped off at the church in either the Children's Ministry Welcome area or in The Commons on Sunday mornings.

This year for Maundy Thursday, we will host a Stations of the Cross event from 4p – 8p. This interactive event is a wonderful way to place yourself into the story of Holy Week. Throughout 12 stations, you will reflect on the final days and hours of Jesus’ life. This solemn and moving experience is a great way to invite your friends to participate in Holy Week at FBCOKC. Stations of the Cross will be spread out between the Dining Hall, Parlor, and Chapel. We anticipate that this self-paced experience will take about 45 minutes to complete.

In order to keep the stations from being overcrowded, we are asking that you reserve a specific start time, online. You can reserve your time by clicking on the button below. The event will be from 4p-8p and groups will start every 10 minutes. We hope you will join us, and invite your friends, for Stations of the Cross!

On Good Friday, we will hold our Good Friday service. This service will be a time of reflection and contemplation as we remember Jesus' death on the cross. We will have a time of worship, as well as a message from Pastor Sarah. During the service, we will observe communion. This service will be live streamed on our Facebook page as well as our website. If you choose to participate in this service from home, please gather elements for Communion and participate with us.

Join us to celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter Sunday! We will have a celebratory service at 10:30am. Our worship team will lead us in worship as we praise our risen Savior, and Pastor Sarah will bring us a message of hope and Good News. You won't want to miss it.
